Know Your Rights: VA to fight court decision giving extra year of education benefits to thousands of veterans

According to an article from the MilitaryTimes, “Veterans Affairs officials have appealed a federal court ruling, granting thousands of veterans an extra year of college tuition benefits, likely delaying final resolution on the issue for at least a few more months.” No veteran should have to sign away any GI Bill just to obtain education benefits. Contact your state representatives and let them know how education benefits are a right, not a privilege.
