Feel Good Friday: Out-of-state Healthcare Workers Fighting Coronavirus in NYC get Standing Ovation from Cops
Source: NYDailyNews.com
For today’s edition of “Feel Good Fridays”, we would like to share this uplifting article from the NY Daily News that highlights the tireless work done to fight this virus by our healthcare heroes.
According to the article, “Out-of-state health care workers who joined New York’s ongoing war against coronavirus were given a surprise standing ovation from scores of police officers Wednesday as many prepared for their last rotation at area hospitals. Dozens of NYPD officers surprised the volunteers outside of Park Central Hotel in Midtown and applauded their dedication, bravery and generosity as they boarded a bus that would take them to another day on the front lines.”
It goes without saying that our gratitude for every doctor, nurse and any other worker & volunteer in the medical field, is endless. When we all come together to fight, boundaries become non-existent. Even state and city boundaries.
